Baby Pooping naturally

These LO's are very precious to us & am dead sure you like me are looking up for millions of stuff to help you and your baby feel better. Pooping is one such common issue for these little ones. Rather not-pooping is a common issue :P I don't know how and why they suddenly decide not to poop. My LO didn't give me much trouble in US but in India he seemed to have a problem. He wasn't pooping at all. I believe that once they poop their stomachs are more clear and they are more happy. They are allowed about 7 -9 days without poop. I freak for 2-3 days only.

My pediatrician in India recommended to use suppositories to help them poop. They are basically frozen stuff which is inserted into rectum and it melts there and helps baby poop. I as usual wasn't interested in this way. Based on gyan of al elders here i researched and this small trick helped. This according to me works like a natural suppository.

1. Take a betel leaf as shown in the picture. Try one with a long unbroken petiole.
2. generously apply castor oil to rectum area.
3. generously apply castor oil to the petiole part of the betel leaf.
4. roll the betel leaf and insert the petiole into the rectum.
5. leave it there for 2-3 minutes.
6. remove it.
7. The baby will either start pooping immedietely or in few minutes.
